Outfalls and discharges
Within the framework of regulatory studies, we model marine discharges plumes of chemical, bacteriological or sedimentary origin.
Our expertise includes discharges from wastewater treatment plants, thermal and saline plumes, industrial discharges and the dispersion of spoil from dredging or maritime works.
Shoreline protection
Archipel oceanographie helps you to identify the sedimentary processes responsible for erosion and coastline retreat.
We are also involved in impact studies to model and assess the hydro-sedimentary effects of projects in the short, medium and long term for coastal protection and planning. Our expertise is part of a decision-making process in order to imagine protection solutions and their feasibility at the pre-project stage.
Archipel océanographie provides technical support for regulatory studies with high-resolution hydrodynamic and hydrosedimentary numerical modeling.
Our services include the waves numerical modeling, harbour agitation, currents and levels modeling, sediment transport and bottom morphology, dispersion of bacteriological, chemical or sedimentary effluents.
Ports
We are involved in port development projects by carrying out wave disturbance studies for design or navigation.
Our services include the assessment of hydrodynamic and hydro-sedimentary impacts of projects, such as water renewal, water quality, siltation and sand accumulation mitigation, or the risk of shoreline erosion.
Archipel Océanographie assists you in defining your needs and strategies for measurement campaigns at sea, as well as processing and analysis of metocean data (swell, wind, currents and sea level data).
Site exposure and design conditions are defined based on offshore metocean data statistics. Numerical modeling is used to determine normal or extreme events on the study area.
